How to Apply PTFE Thread Tape Correctly

For the best results with your PTFE-Dichtungsband, follow these simple steps:

1. Clean the male threads at the end of the pipe with a clean cloth.
2. Place the end of the Klempnerband on the second thread from the end of the pipe.
3. Hold the tape firmly and wrap it around the threads in the direction of the thread spiral (clockwise).
4. Apply tension while wrapping so the tape pulls into the threads. Wrap 3 to 5 times depending on the thickness of the Teflon-Rohrband.
5. Break or cut the tape and smooth the loose end over the threads.
