Voc\u00ea precisa de um canal de trabalho que ofere\u00e7a resist\u00eancia praticamente nula, mas tamb\u00e9m precisa que o tubo navegue pelo caminho tortuoso do trato gastrointestinal sem dobrar ou colapsar. \u00c9 a cl\u00e1ssica dor de cabe\u00e7a da engenharia: a batalha entre <strong>pushability (capacidade de empuxo)<\/strong> e <strong>trackability (capacidade de navega\u00e7\u00e3o)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No <strong>Teflon X<\/strong>, passamos anos discutindo com a f\u00edsica para acertar esse equil\u00edbrio. N\u00e3o estamos apenas extrudando pl\u00e1stico; estamos moldando as veias da cirurgia minimamente invasiva. Hoje, quero deixar de lado a conversa de marketing e falar sobre a ci\u00eancia real por tr\u00e1s da <strong>Tubula\u00e7\u00e3o de PTFE customizada<\/strong>, por que o atrito \u00e9 seu inimigo e como realmente resolvemos esses problemas no ch\u00e3o de f\u00e1brica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O v\u00edcio no atrito: Por que o PTFE vence todas as vezes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voc\u00ea provavelmente j\u00e1 analisou o FEP ou o PFA. Talvez at\u00e9 tenha considerado o HDPE por um segundo antes de perceber que ele n\u00e3o aguenta o calor. Mas voc\u00ea sempre volta para o PTFE (Politetrafluoretileno). Por qu\u00ea?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Porque o atrito \u00e9 fatal na endoscopia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quando um m\u00e9dico est\u00e1 manipulando um broncosc\u00f3pio ou um colonosc\u00f3pio, o feedback t\u00e1til \u00e9 tudo. Se o revestimento tiver alto atrito, ocorre o fen\u00f4meno \u201cslip-stick\u201d. O instrumento d\u00e1 solavancos. O movimento preciso torna-se imposs\u00edvel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aqui est\u00e1 a matem\u00e1tica que governa nossas vidas em <strong>extrus\u00e3o m\u00e9dica<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>F = u * N<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Onde:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>F<\/strong> \u00e9 a For\u00e7a de atrito (aquilo contra o qual voc\u00ea est\u00e1 lutando).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>u (mu)<\/strong> \u00e9 o Coeficiente de Atrito (COF).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>N<\/strong> \u00e9 a for\u00e7a Normal (a press\u00e3o do instrumento contra a parede).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em um endosc\u00f3pio curvo, <strong>N<\/strong> increases dramatically at every bend. If <strong>u<\/strong> isn\u2019t as low as humanly possible, <strong>F<\/strong> sky-rockets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PTFE is the only material that gives you a static coefficient of friction around <strong>0.05 to 0.1<\/strong>. That is nearly as slippery as wet ice on wet ice. Nothing else comes close. FEP is great, but its COF hovers around 0.2. In endoscopy, rigidity is dangerous. You need the tube to bend with the scope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, how do we make <strong>tubo de PTFE<\/strong> flexible enough for a distal tip deflection of 180 degrees?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Wall Thickness is King<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have to push the limits of extrusion. We aren\u2019t talking about standard plumbing here. We are talking about ultra-thin walls. For <strong>canais de endosc\u00f3pio<\/strong>, we frequently extrude liners with walls as thin as <strong>0.001 inches (0.0254 mm)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reducing the wall thickness reduces the \u201cmoment of inertia\u201d of the tube cross-section, drastically lowering the flexural modulus (stiffness) of the final assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The Etching Factor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can\u2019t just shove a PTFE liner into a braided catheter and hope it stays. PTFE hates sticking to things. That\u2019s its whole point. To bond it to the outer jacket (usually Pebax or Nylon), we have to chemically etch the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No <strong>Teflon X<\/strong>, utilizamos um processo de ataque qu\u00edmico com complexo de s\u00f3dio-naftaleno. O nylon \u00e9 muito pegajoso; o FEP \u00e9 muito r\u00edgido para as extremidades distais extremas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estudo de Caso: A Pin\u00e7a de Bi\u00f3psia \u201cInst\u00e1vel\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gostaria de compartilhar uma hist\u00f3ria (com nomes alterados, obviamente) sobre um cliente que ajudamos recentemente. Vamos cham\u00e1-los de \u201cScopeCo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A ScopeCo estava desenvolvendo um novo duodenosc\u00f3pio para procedimentos de CPRE. Eles estavam usando um revestimento de PTFE padr\u00e3o de prateleira de um fornecedor industrial geral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>O Problema:<\/strong><br>Durante a ativa\u00e7\u00e3o do mecanismo elevador (a parte que levanta a ferramenta), as pin\u00e7as de bi\u00f3psia apresentavam solavancos. Os m\u00e9dicos queixaram-se da \u201cperda de controle de precis\u00e3o\u201d. O fornecedor disse-lhes: \u201c\u00c9 PTFE, \u00e9 escorregadio, deveria funcionar\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>O Diagn\u00f3stico da Teflon X:<\/strong><br>Solicitamos amostras e as colocamos sob o microsc\u00f3pio. Duas coisas estavam erradas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rugosidade da Superf\u00edcie Interna:<\/strong> O extrusor anterior estava operando sua extrusora RAM r\u00e1pido demais. Isso causou o efeito de \u201cbambuzamento\u201d ou fratura de fus\u00e3o no DI (Di\u00e2metro Interno). N\u00e3o era liso; era microscopicamente estriado.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Folga de Toler\u00e2ncia:<\/strong> A toler\u00e2ncia do DI era de +\/- 0,003\u2033. Isso \u00e9 muito folgado. O espa\u00e7o entre a ferramenta e a parede estava variando, fazendo com que a ferramenta vibrasse e prendesse.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A Solu\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/strong><br>N\u00f3s reprojetamos o <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/teflonx.com\/pt\/product-category\/tubos-de-ptfe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tubos de PTFE<\/a><\/em><\/strong> usando um perfil de sinteriza\u00e7\u00e3o mais lento e ferramental mais preciso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alcan\u00e7amos um acabamento de superf\u00edcie de DI inferior a 16 Ra (micropolegadas).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ajustamos a toler\u00e2ncia do DI para <strong>+\/- 0.001&#8243;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>O resultado:<\/strong><br>O solavanco desapareceu. A for\u00e7a de atua\u00e7\u00e3o caiu em 35%.
